In 2010 I was asked by fellow metalsmith, and UNT alum Parker Brown to join him in the creation of the metalwork for a ceremonial mace for Texas A&M in Qatar. I sculpted the falcons that adorne the top, made the molds and cast swords, acorns, and dates that ornament the mace. The design, steel stand, and wood carving were created by Dr. Rodney Hill of Texas A&M, College Station. Images to follow.
